When a mysterious young woman comes between two married professors, their long-established and carefully crafted cat-and-mouse game crumbles, as predator becomes prey. It’s the summer of 1986 on the Kelsey College campus.

Professors Sam and Vera Ward were married decades ago and haven’t slept together since. With little desire to satisfy Sam’s sexual appetite, Vera and he have come to an arrangement. From the start of every school year, Sam can sleep with one woman of his choosing, with two rules: she must be a student, and the affair cannot last.

This year, their target is Jade, who, unbeknownst to the Wards, is poised to destroy their carefully constructed lives, as she comes to hold Sam in the palm of her hand and grip Vera in a dance of obsession and desire. What unfolds is a reckoning that will leave Vera, Jade, and Sam completely undone. Jaded is an irresistibly electric, provocative novel about power, where each character is forced to confront the messy web of complicity, lies, and lust in which they have unwittingly entangled themselves.

‘Jaded is one hell of a ride. It has brilliant character development, pacing, and plot twists, along with a scorching hot love triangle. Highly recommended!’ Elin Hilderbrand, author of Swan Song.
